Ralph McQuarrie, the man who helped get everyone to see the fantasy universe wrapped in technology known as Star Wars, is gone.

If you're in that grognard generation, you know the inspiration that he could generate. Even the drawings and renderings of ideas that didn't make the final cut were things of wonder that could inspire.
